cvs2cl software package provides CVS-log-message-to-ChangeLog conversion script, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cvs2cl
cvs2cl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cvs2cl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cvs2cl *
You will get with cvs2cl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
